Akukagqitywa ngomhla wokubuyela komrhanelwa enkudleni.

Cape Town – The case against Alfred Makinana accused of allegedly murdering Khayelitsha land activist, Mthunzi ‘Ras Moziah’ Zuma was struck off the roll on Friday after the case docket arrived late at the court.
Makinana appeared before Margistrate Vernon Jantjies on Friday morning at the Khayelitsha Margistrate’s Court. He was granted R500 bail on the 28th of June.
The Zuma family accompanied by Ras Moziah’s comrades who were aggrieved by the shoddy handling of the case, went to Lingelethu West Police Station to report the matter. The head of detectives at the station apologised to the family and promised that the matter would be put on the roll as soon as possible.
No date has been set yet for Makinana’s next court appearance.
Zuma was murdered on the evening of 28 May after having led the land occupation of backyarders in Town 2. The land occupation has already claimed two lives since it began in the middle of May.
