UWC evicts students | Ixosha abafundi i-UWC (isiZulu) #UWCResInjustice

Abafundi abahlala eCollin Williams eNyuvesi yaseNtshonalanga Koloni (UWC) baxoshiwe.
Ngemuva kweviki elilodwa ukuya kwi-sondo lesibili lonyaka, abafundi abayisishiyagalombili baye bashiywe emakhazeni ngabaphathi beyunivesithi. Abafundi kuthiwa babehlala okungekho emthethweni emakamelweni angahlali bantu kusukela ekuqaleni kuka-Ephreli.

UWC students from Collin Williams residence have been evicted by the University authorities.

Barely two weeks into the second semester, a group of students were left in the cold after they were were locked out of their rooms while some were attending their classes. The students are accused of occupying the rooms illegally. This comes

In videos posted on social networks under the hashtag #UWCResInjustice , their luggage can be seen on the floor just outside the residence. This comes during the winter season where temperatures can go as below as 13 degrees at night. The SRC & Central Housing Committee are yet to assist the students.



Some of the evicted students come from outside the province and have no one to turn to. The University is yet to decide on the way forward.
