Cape Town – A woman has been rescued while attempting to jump off the roof of the Bellville Margistrate Court on Thursday morning.

The woman was see at the edge of the court’s roof just around 11am.

Cape Town rescue services were quickly called to the scene and the woman removed from the room accompanied by police.

Police whisk her away from the scene

Her identity and reasons for her actions were not immediately available.

The police at the scene refused to make a comment.
